Jake Paul Vs Mike Tyson; The Generations Clash By: Nasim Hemmings

The idea of Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fighting have been surfacing the internet recently. This fight would be part of history because it would be the first time a fight has had a massive age gap. At 58 years old, Mike Tyson is far from his prime, while Jake Paul is 27 years old and is in his prime. Currently this age gap might be difficult for Mike Tyson to keep up. Breanna Evans a student at Hillgrove High School states “Like I said, Mike Tyson is old, you know, he's not in his prime, still a strong guy, and he was training and stuff, but I think he was just trying to get back in the ring and have fun.” The Breanna believes that Mikes age and his time away from the sport could make it difficult for him to perform at his highest level. 

Fans believe that Jake Paul just wanted the money from the fight. That would explain to why Jake Paul chose him as an opponent. Tyson is one of the most popular boxers in the world, and Jake might have saw this as an opportunity. Alex Mory, another Hillgrove student shares “Money, money, money. 100% he is Jake Paul, he fell off. He is trying to figure out a way to come back.” Alex believes that Jake Paul strategically choose mike as an opponent to secure making tons of money from the fight.

During the fight something unusual and unexpected happened, which caught the eyes of fans. Mike Tyson is repeatedly biting his glove throughout the fight. This has not been the first time a boxer has ever bit his glove.  Chalin Young a student at Hillgrove states “He was trying to; he was trying to go back to his old ways. I used to watch him when he was younger, like he was trying to bring that out of him.” Fans are most likely used to this behavior from Mike Tyson and it is more of a nostalgic moment for fans when they see him bit his boxing gloves.
