Stranger Things, the show that will literally turn your world upside down, has finally returned with a new season. The grand finale finally aired on November 26, three years after season 4 was released in 2022. However, the season won't be finished till the new year; fans are still happy to have a glimpse of what the finale will be like. The show took the internet by storm and has already made another ’80s song popular. Last year's "Running Up That Hill" became number one on the Billboard Hot 100 within the first week. This year, however, there have been two songs: Upside Down by Diana Ross and I Think We’re Alone Now by Tiffany. The next three episodes are coming out on Christmas Day. Fans have already come up with all types of theories about the season. Some have been very crazy, and some make you think. Yet the whole world of Stranger Things turns everyone upside down.
With a Finale in a show just as popular as this, many have their theories on who's going to die. Hillgrove High School Senior Chris Dowels says, “My biggest predictions are that Vecna is going to kill either Will or El.” With every finale, there is always someone who dies die, and it dose kind of make sense that one of the main powerful characters do die. However, Mrs Jordan Hunt says, “I think Robin is, though I like her and I love her, I think Robin's going to go. She just seems like one of those characters. We just met her kind of sort of you know what I'm saying? And, like, we've all fallen in love with, like, who she is, and we're kind of like, watching her grow up, and I feel like they're going to snatch that away from us.” When it comes to side characters that have a lot of screen time, mostly, they do die. But if Robin does die, that would be very sad, knowing that a lot of the fanbase love her and she did kinda just come in. Other than the who's going to die theories, there are also others. Chris Dowels says, “I think that the rip in Hawkins has a big monster contained in it and is trying to get out.” This is kinda cray, but it does make sense because demogroans have the ability to rip a hole between their world and our world. So, it would make sense that an even powerful monster would stay in that rip until the time is right.
In the new season, Will Byers developed a new role in the show. According to Mrs. Jordan Hunt, “So we know Will is connected. Well, we've always known that he's connected, but he has a really deeper connection. It's giving me Harry Potter vibes, like, totally. So, I feel like it's going to be one who can't live without the other dying, or however that's supposed to go. So, I feel like there's going to be a lot of deaths.” Will has become the team's new hope in fighting and has expanded his way of seeing not only what Vecna does but also what he can control.
